Is it actually free, or a free trial?
It is free — not a trial. Browsing the gallery and downloading designs and stencils costs nothing, with no account and no card. When live generation is enabled it is free up to a fair daily limit.
What is the catch?
No catch. The gallery, downloads, stencil PNGs and print PDFs are all free with no account and no card, and live generation gives you 2 free designs a day. If you want more in one day there are optional one-off credit packs — $4.90 for 40 designs, $9.90 for 100. There is no subscription, and you never need a pack to use the site.
Do I need to sign up or give an email?
No. Browsing, downloading, making a stencil and generating your 2 free designs a day all work with no signup at all. The only time an email comes into it is if you buy a credit pack and later need us to send your code back.
