As a tattoo it usually means protection, awareness and truth — an eye that watches over you, or a reminder that you see things as they are. Style decides the tone: an Eye of Horus reads ancient and graphic, a nazar reads folk and protective, a fine-line realistic eye with lashes reads intimate, and an eye in a triangle reads esoteric. How to make an eye tattoo stencil
An eye is almost entirely tone — iris texture, the shadow of the lid, the wet highlight — with only the lash line and the outer shape as true outlines. That is why eye designs look strange at default settings: the converter draws the iris as a mess of concentric fragments. Pull Line detail right down and you get what you actually need: lid line, iris circle, pupil, and the brow or ornament around it.
Eyes are often set inside something else — a hand, a triangle, a moth's wings, an ornamental frame — so judge the printed sheet on how the eye sits in that frame, not on the eye alone. Placements are usually flat and small: inner forearm, sternum, back of the neck. Print at 100% scale so the pupil is the size you intended.
